How the commission works
Buttons such as "Play at …" go through a short address on our site, /go/…, which forwards you to the casino. If you then open an account and deposit, the casino or its affiliate program may pay us a fee. You pay nothing extra, and the casino's terms are the same as if you had typed its address yourself.
Our links carry rel="nofollow", and the /go/ addresses are closed to search engines.
What commission doesn't change
- The order of the payout race. It comes from each casino's stated times, and from our stopwatch where we have a timed test. See how we time payouts.
- The pros and cons. Every casino page has at least two cons, taken from its own terms.
- Which casinos get a button. A casino gets one only after we have read its terms and checked its affiliate program's record for unpaid players and complaints.
The casinos are offshore
Every casino on cleared. is offshore. Some name a foreign licence in their footer, such as one issued by the Tobique Gaming Commission; others name none, and we say so on their pages. Online casinos are not licensed in Australia. The Interactive Gambling Act 2001 doesn't allow them to be offered to people here, and ACMA, the Australian Communications and Media Authority, blocks offshore gambling websites. A casino on this site, or this site itself, can become unreachable from Australia.
We tell you this on every casino page, next to the licence line, because it matters for your money: if a site is blocked while you have a balance there, getting it out can take longer.
